Stems is the incredibly flexible ‘maker’ toy that stimulates STEM learning through creative construction. Stems’ intriguingly organic-looking pieces join together naturally along their bobbly spine to create surprising models from jumping frogs and bouncing balls to vehicles and DNA strands. Incredibly tactile and brightly coloured, Stems’ possibilities are as unlimited as a child’s ingenuity or imagination and you don't need to buy different pieces to make a Stems creation; every Stem is exactly the same simple shape, they are so bendy that you only need this one shape to make pretty much anything you can imagine! Strong, lightweight and very portable, Stems deliver long lasting play value as one bright colourful creation follows another. Stems suit all ages and abilities, appealing to all kinds of learners and creating confidence through success. Easy to use, easy to clear up and easy to store, Stems make economic and educational sense.
Stems is the brainchild of Euan Lind, a Scottish inventor whose love and interest of toy manufacturing dates back to when he was just 11 years old and wrote a piece of homework titled "The Manufacture of Toys".
